    SHRIMATI BRINDA KARAT:

    Will the Minister of EXTERNAL AFFAIRS be pleased to state:

    (a) the number of Indians detained in various countries; and
    (b) the number of Indians released and brought back to India due to the
    intervention of Indian Embassies?
