The discussion was based on the Director General and Chair of Think-20 (India's G20 Presidency), Amb Sujan R. Chinoy’s suggestions for improving infrastructure in Ladakh.

Associate Fellow, Manohar Parrikar IDSA, Ms Shruti Pandalai spoke on ‘Key Developments in the Indo Pacific: Perceptions in South East Asia’ at the Monday Morning Meeting on 23 January 2023. Research Fellow, Cmde Abhay Kumar Singh (Retd), moderated the meeting.

Manohar Parrikar Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses (MP-IDSA) organised the 14 South Asia Conference on ‘Think20@G20: Towards a Resilient South Asia’, on 17-18 January 2023, as a special Think20 side event.

Director General, Manohar Parrikar IDSA and Chair of Think-20, Amb Sujan R. Chinoy chaired Mr Elbridge Colby's Talk on ‘The Strategy of Denial: An Assessment of US Defense Strategy for the Indo Pacific', based on his book on 12 January 2023. A lively Q&A session followed.

As part of Manohar Parrikar IDSA’s Eminent Persons’ Lecture Series, Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari, PVSM AVSM VM ADC, Chief of Air Staff, spoke on ‘India’s Air Power: Future Trends and Context’ on 12 January 2023. Director General, Amb Sujan R. Chinoy delivered the Welcome Address and moderated the event.
