Director General, MP-IDSA, Amb Sujan R. Chinoy interacted with a 40-member delegation of the 77th edition of KIP by The Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, on 19 September 2024. This talk was followed by an insightful Q&A session with the young Indian diaspora from fourteen different countries.

MP-IDSA held a Roundtable on ‘Online Gaming, Illicit Financial Flows & Organised Crimes’ on 17 September 2024. Shri Jayant Misra discussed the online gaming landscape while Shri Rakesh Maheshwari elaborated on the legal frameworks. The event, chaired by Director General Amb Sujan R. Chinoy concluded with a Q&A session.

Director General, Manohar Parrikar IDSA, Amb Sujan R. Chinoy met the scholars of the Applied Policy Research Institute Armenia (APRI), led by Vice President (Strategy and Development) Anahide Pilibossian, on 09 September 2024, for a productive exchange of views on strengthening the relationship between the two think-tanks.

Members of Ministerial Committee from Tanzania, led by Amb Khamis Suedy Kagasheki, visited MP-IDSA on 04 September 2024 and engaged in a productive interaction with Director General MP-IDSA, Amb Sujan R. Chinoy and scholars from the ALACUN Centre, to foster deeper collaboration.

Associate Fellow, Manohar Parrikar IDSA, Dr Ranjit K. Dhawan spoke on ‘The Paradox of South Korea’s Quest for Nuclear Weapons’ at the Monday Morning Meeting on 02 September 2024.

The session was moderated by Research Analyst, Mr Niranjan Oak, followed by insightful remarks by the research scholars of MP-IDSA.

MP-IDSA organised the 15th Bilateral Dialogue with the Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS), Tehran, on 28 August 2024.

Director General MP-IDSA, Amb Sujan R. Chinoy, and Vice President IPIS, Dr Khalil Shirgholami, led the Dialogue. Amb. Iraj Elahi, Ambassador of Islamic Republic of Iran to India and Amb. Rudra Gaurav Shresth, Ambassador of India to Iran delivered Special Addresses.

Senior Fellow, Manohar Parrikar IDSA Gp Capt RK Narang gave a Fellow Seminar on ‘The Necessity of Military-Civil Tech Fusion (MCTF) for Making India a Global Drone Hub@2030’ on 27 August 2024. The Seminar was chaired by Dr VK Saraswat, Member NITI Aayog. Discussants included Professor Hari Babu Srivastava of IIT Delhi and Commodore Jaideep Avinash Maolankar (Retd) from NewSpace Research & Technologies Ltd. The Seminar was attended by Director General, MP-IDSA, Amb Sujan R. Chinoy and others.

Manohar Parrikar IDSA organised a one- day Seminar on ‘Current Challenges to India’s Internal Security’ on 20 August 2024. Director General, Amb Sujan R. Chinoy delivered the Introductory Address. It was followed by a keynote address by Deputy National Security Advisor, Shri Pankaj Kumar Singh.
