MP-IDSA organised the Africa Day Roundtable 2024 on 12 July 2024. Director General, Amb Sujan R. Chinoy delivered the Inaugural Address and stated that India is ready to work with Africa as Vishwabandhu. Africa remains a top priority of India’s Foreign Policy under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Additional Secretary, MEA (E & SA), Shri. Puneet Roy Kundal delivered the Special Remarks.

Manohar Parrikar IDSA organised a Round Table Discussion on ‘India-Iran Relations: Chabahar and Recent Developments in Iran’ on 11 June 2024.
The discussion was chaired by Director General MP-IDSA, Amb Sujan R. Chinoy and the panelists comprised Amb Yashvardhan Sinha, Amb G Dharmendra and Dr Deepika Saraswat. The presentations were followed by Q&A.

P-IDSA organised a Round Table Discussion on ‘DAP 2020: Addressing New Challenges’ on 05 June 2024. Director General Amb Sujan R. Chinoy chaired the discussion. Maj Gen Abhay Dayal, ADG (Tech) Army), Lt Gen (Dr) Subrata Saha (Retd), officers of Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Airforce, DRDO, and representatives from UK India Business Council, US-India Business Council, SIBAT, Israel Ministry of Defense, Rosoboronexport, FICCI, Society of Indian Defence Manufacturers and PHD Chamber contributed in the discussion.

MP-IDSA organised a lecture by Amb Harsh Shringla, former Foreign Secretary, GoI, on ‘Developmental Priorities and India’s Neighbourhood: View from Darjeeling’ on 31 May 2024.

The Lecture was organised under the Eminent Persons Lecture Series, and was chaired by Director General, MP-IDSA, Amb. Sujan R. Chinoy.

Director General, Manohar Parrikar IDSA, Amb Sujan R. Chinoy hosted a delegation from NIDS, Japan, led by President Lt Gen Takeshi Ishikawa on 30 May 2024, for a bilateral dialogue on India-Japan security cooperation. Officers and scholars from both sides participated in the deliberations.

A delegation from the Institute for National Security Strategy, South Korea led by President Dr Han Suk Hee visited MP-IDSA on 30 May 2024, for an interactive session on Security Cooperation between India and Korea. Director General MP-IDSA, Amb Sujan R. Chinoy chaired the meeting, attended by scholars from both sides
