Research Fellow, IDSA, Dr Kalyan Raman delivered a lecture on ‘India's Extended Neighborhood’ at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy on July 23, 2012.

The IDSA delegation, led by Director General, IDSA, Dr Arvind Gupta and comprising Research Fellows, Dr Uttam Sinha, Dr Udai Bhanu Singh and Cdr SS Parmar held a Track 1.5 strategic dialogue with Future Direction International (FDI) Perth, Australia, from July 18-19, 2012. The strategic dialogue included issues concerning India-Pacific region, regional architecture, maritime concerns, water, food and energy issues, along with India-Australia bilateral.

The Symposium was organised on the occasion of Singapore Prime Minister, Mr Lee Hsien Loong’s visit to Delhi.

Director General IDSA, Dr Arvind Gupta DG, paid a courtesy call to Hon’ble Minister of State, Ministry of Communication and Information Shri Sachin Pilot on July 6, 2012 at Minister’s Chamber and briefed him on IDSA’s activities, including the latest Task Force Report on Cyber Security.

Research fellow, IDSA, Dr Uttam Sinha shared some of his experiences on leadership and research network with the 2012 batch of Chevening Gurukul Fellows. Dr Sinha was a 2008 Chevening Fellow at the London School of Economics and Political Sciences (LSE).
