    SHRIMATI JAYANTHI NATARAJAN:

    Will the Minister of EXTERNAL AFFAIRS be pleased to state:

    (a) whether it is a fact that Pakistan has recently claimed that Kashmiri people are paying income tax to Pakistan;
    (b) if so, the details thereof; and;
    (c) the action Government have to counter this and foil the nefarious move of Pakistan ?

    ANSWER THE MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF EXTERNAL AFFAIRS (SHRI E. AHAMED)

    (a) & (b) We have not come across any instance of residents of Jammu and Kashmir paying income tax to Pakistan.

    (c) Does not arise.
