    Will the Minister of EXTERNAL AFFAIRS be pleased to state:-

    (a) whether the Government is aware that a number of Sikhs and Hindus in Pakistan are denied Visa to travel to India;

    (b) if so, the details thereof;

    (c) whether the Government proposes to provide all Hindus and Sikhs who are currently citizen of Pakistan dual citizenship for free entry and exit in India; and

    (d) if so, the details thereof ?

    ANSWER: THE MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF EXTERNAL AFFAIRS (SMT. PRENEET KAUR)

    (a) & (b) Visa applications for Pakistan nationals, regardless of their community, are received in the High Commission of India in Islamabad and processed in accordance with the norms stipulated by the Government of India. Visas to Pakistani nationals are issued subject to fulfilment of requirements as per Visa Manual.

    (c) No.

    (d) Does not arise.
