The rise of religious nativism and growing Islamist orientation of Bangladeshi polity poses potential threats to Indian security and vital interests. The radicalisation of Bangladeshi youth and their linkages with global Islamist powers and jihadist networks could fuel violence and militancy in India’s border states, writes Dr Rasheed.
