    A National Strategy –– involving governance, development, empowerment and security –– is the basic prerequisite for resolving the challenge posed by Naxalism/Left Wing Extremism in the country, Lt Gen VK Ahluwalia (Retd) said, on June 5, 2014, while delivering a talk at the Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses (IDSA) on the theme, “Future of the Naxalite Movement”. Author of a recently published book entitled ‘Red Revolution 2020 and beyond: Strategic Challenges to Resolve Naxalism’, he is presently Member, Armed Forces Tribunal, Jaipur Bench.

    PK Gautam Nominated as TERI University’s Member Of Board of Studies

    Research Fellow, IDSA, Col PK Gautam (Retd) was nominated by TERI University as a member of the Board of Studies (BoS) for TERI University’s new multi-track programme on ‘Water Science and Governance’. The programme is for MTech/MSc/PGD/PG Certificate. Col Gautam participated in reviewing the course curriculum on May 29, 2014.

Shri Menon was delivering an inaugural address at the one day international seminar on Kautilya, organised by the Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses (IDSA), in collaboration with the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), on April 9, 2014.
