Ms. Nagapushpa Devendra is a Research Analyst in the West Asia Centre. She joined MP-IDSA in 2017. Ms. Devendra concentrates on conflict and security, exploring the rapidly changing terrains of war and peace in the West Asia region. She also focuses on political and economic co-existence of West Asia with international communities and actors.
She has a Master of Arts in Diplomacy, Law and Business (MADLB) from the Jindal School of International Affairs, O.P. Jindal Global University, Haryana, where she studied Shia Sunni dimension to the conflict between Iran and Saudi Arabia and its impact on West Asia.
Prior to joining MP-IDSA, she worked with Greenpeace and BBC as a consultant. Ms. Devendra has also worked in Kashmir and studied the conflict from a humanitarian perspective. She was also associated with StudioAdda.
