Educational Qualifications
|
- Master’s Degree with first class in computer sciences/information technology
- Master’s Degree with first class in international relations or strategic affairs.
- Candidates with BE/ B.Tech. in computer sciences/information technology electronics would also be considered.
- Preference shall be given to candidates who have undertaken research on cybersecurity

Research experience in cyber security and information in relation to international peace and security

Job Description* |
The job profile, inter-alia, includes:
- Monitoring the official statements, briefings, documents etc. on foreign and security policies related to cyber and information security
- Data collection from Primary and Secondary sources
- Providing research support for the Project which shall include data mining from various sources, collating perspectives of various countries, organisations, private sector, civil society etc. on issues in cyber and information security
- Providing administrative support for organising round tables, workshops, seminars, conferences, meetings under the aegis of the Project, getting in touch over telephone and email with invitees (chairs, discussants, participants) under the supervision of the Centre Coordinator, coordinating with the conference cell to arrange transport, refreshments, lunch etc.
- Writing event reports of seminars, round tables, seminars, workshops, etc. held at the Institute under the Project

- Keen interest in cybersecurity along with hands-on knowledge/background in cyberspace related skill-sets such as software languages, networking, internet governance related issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to attend to detail

General Information
|
- Short listed candidates will be invited to attend interviews at Delhi latest by first/second week of October 2021 for one day.
- Outstation candidates will be paid to and fro AC- III tier rail fare, on production of tickets, by the shortest route
- The selected candidates will be expected to join as per the date on the offer letter.
- The Institute reserves the right to fill or not to fill the advertised position
- Prescribed government rules regarding reservation will be followed in filling these posts
- The Institute reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates for interview to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement and other academic achievements
- In case a candidate joins the Institute accepting the Terms and Conditions contained herein, she/he will be required to give an undertaking in writing that she/he will not apply for any appointment or course, part-time or full-time, without obtaining the written permission from the competent authority of the Institute. Also, while in service of the Institute, she/he will not engage in any trade or business or undertake any other full-time or part- time appointment
