DPK Pillay Presents Paper at Conference on Political, Economic and Security Influences in NE India

Research Fellow, IDSA, Col (Dr) DPK Pillay, SC, (Retd) presented a paper at a Seminar on ‘Unravelling the Political, Economic and Security Influences in NE India and its Impact on the Nuances of Indo-Myanmar Border (IMB) Management’, organised by the HQ Assam Rifles, MHA, on June 23-24, 2017.

Col (Dr) Pillay’s paper was a narration of his story of the encounter, explaining the choices he had when faced with the injured children and the surrendered militants and the actions he took. His suggestions in the paper were covered by a diverse section of the media.
