Reports noted that the US was equipping Pakistani ports with radiation sensors to prevent nuclear and radiological-weapon material from being transported into or out of the country. Observers have expressed concern in recent months over the security of Pakistan's nuclear arsenal in light of increased extremist activity in the country1.
