Special DG of BSF, U.K. Bansal told reporters at Udhampur on July 14 that Pakistan was constructing a large number of bunkers and observations posts closer to the International Border (IB) in the aftermath of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks "taking advantage of the cease-fire agreement and the situation prevailing along the borders.” He added that there has been a decline in infiltration along the IB in Jammu sector due to fencing and increased vigil on the part of the security forces. Mr. Bansal however pointed out that the terror infrastructure and training camps were still intact on the other side of the border1.
