Kurdistan’s President Barzani visits Iraq; ready to resolve problems through dialogue

    According to reports, Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki has said that "the circumstances and large challenges in the region, which surrounding Iraq need a firm stand and National Front to solve all the problems in the spirit of national fraternal to immunize the country from what is going on in the region of the problems and implications." Maliki’s statement came during a joint news conference with Kurdistan’s president, Massoud Barzani. He also stated, “We are, in every inch of Iraq, responsible for the provision of services after being freed from all restrictions and most recently the Chapter IIV to make our country strong." President of Kurdistan, Massoud Barzani stated "all outstanding problems between the centre and the region will be resolved through mutual understanding and through the Constitution." Barzani stressed that Maliki's recent visit to Arbil had a big impact in softening the atmosphere where it was agreed to form committees to resolve outstanding problems between the centre and the region. 1
